MILWAUKEE – New Milwaukee Bucks owners Marc Lasry and Wes Edens admit there may have been errors in the process but they are nonetheless happy to have Jason Kidd as their new head coach.
Kidd was formally introduced Wednesday at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. He says he's excited to work with a young Bucks team that includes No. 2 overall draft pick Jabari Parker.
Kidd says there were no hard feelings regarding his surprising departure from Brooklyn, where he won 44 games as a first-year head coach. He left after a failed bid for more front-office power with the Nets and joined the Bucks over the weekend.
Milwaukee finished with a league worst 15-67 record last season. The Bucks fired Larry Drew shortly before announcing they had hired Kidd.
