Bruins ink top draft pick Hamilton

Boston, MA – The Boston Bruins signed defenseman Dougie level contract on Thursday.

Boston selected the 18-year-old Hamilton with the ninth overall pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Hamilton leads all OHL defensemen this season in goals (11), assists (30) and points. In 159 career games with the Niagara IceDogs, Hamilton has registered 26 goals and 115 points.
