The Broncos have two punters on their 90-man roster again.
The team claimed punter Spencer Lanning off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He could feasibly compete with incumbent Britton Colquitt.
The move comes just 11 days after the team released camp leg Karl Schmitz.
Lanning punted for the Browns the last two seasons. He ranked 17th in the league last year in net punting average (39.2 yards), but was replaceable when his former team traded for Andy Lee.
