Eden Prairie, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is scheduled to start Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions after missing the team's most recent tilt against the Green Bay Packers.

Bridgewater, who suffered a sprained left ankle late in the Vikings' 41-28 Week 4 win over Atlanta, practiced fully all week. The 2014 first-round pick took over the No. 1 job following veteran Matt Cassel's season-ending broken foot in Minnesota's Week 2 loss to New England.

Minus Bridgewater, the Vikings were dealt a 42-10 loss by the Packers last week as fill-in starter Christian Ponder threw two interceptions.

Safety Harrison Smith (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game. He was a limited participant in Thursday and Friday's practice after missing Wednesday's session.

Linebacker Chad Greenway returned to practice on Friday -- albeit limited -- for the first time since breaking three ribs in Minnesota's Week 3 loss at New Orleans. He remains doubtful to play, however.
