NEW YORK (Reuters) - Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Corey Hart has won his arbitration hearing and will make $4.8 million this season, a three-member panel decided on Friday.

The Brewers had offered the 27-year-old $4.15 million for the season, Major League Baseball reported on its website (www.mlb.com).

Hart made $3.25 million in 2009. He batted .260 with 12 home runs in a season interrupted by an emergency appendectomy that sidelined him for more than a month.
