Lisbon, Portugal – Braga announced on Wednesday that the club has parted company with manager Leonardo Jardim, who leaves "by mutual consent" after one season in charge.
The 37-year-old Jardim is reported to have had a falling out with Braga president Antonio Salvador, leading to a split despite Jardim guiding the club to a successful campaign in which it finished third in the league table and qualified for the Champions League.
Former Portugal winger Sergio Conceicao guided Olhanense to an eighth-place finish this past season and he is being tipped by a sports daily in Portugal, Record, to take over for Jardim.
