It's been quite a rookie season for Keegan Bradley.

After a victory at the Byron Nelson Championship earlier this year, Bradley defeated Jason Dufner in a playoff Sunday to earn his first major title at the PGA Championship.

Bradley finished the three-hole playoff at one-under par and beat Dufner by a single stroke at Atlanta Athletic Club.

Bradley, 25, became the third golfer in history to win in his major championship debut. Francis Ouimet won the 1913 U.S. Open in his first major appearance and Ben Curtis did the same at the 2003 British Open.

Bradley also ended a major drought for Americans. The last major winner from the U.S. was Phil Mickelson at last year's Masters, but the six-tournament span without an American winner was the longest in history.
