Tiger Woods headed in the right direction at Jack's place

Tiger Woods didn't waste much time getting into the mix on a soggy day at the Memorial.

Muirfield Village was softer and longer because of a nearly two-hour rain delay Friday. Woods teed off in the afternoon and played bogey-free on the front nine, making three birdies to tie for the lead at 5-under par.Spencer Levin had a 72 and Scott Stallings shot 73 to finish two rounds at 5-under 139. Aaron Baddeley also was at 5 under through eight hole.Woods is a four-time champion at Memorial, and this is his final tuneup before the U.S. Open. He won Bay Hill in his last tournament before the Masters.Masters champion Bubba Watson missed the cut for the first time all year.Dustin Johnson is playing his first tournament since March because of a back injury.
