Bordeaux, France – Bordeaux has bolstered its back line with the addition of veteran defender Jeremie Brechet, who joins the team on a one- year contract from relegated Troyes.
Brechet brings a wealth of experience to the side having played for Lyon, Inter Milan, Real Sociedad, Sochaux and PSV Eindhoven prior to his arrival at Troyes.
The 33-year-old is the first signing of the summer for Bordeaux and he started 24 Ligue 1 matches for Troyes last term, scoring two goals.
