Blue Jackets activate Huselius from IR
Columbus, OH – The Columbus Blue Jackets activated forward Kristian Huselius from injured reserve on Friday.
Huselius has missed the season's first 25 games after he underwent successful surgery to repair a torn right pectoral muscle in July. The veteran Swede suffered the injury while lifting weights during off-season training in his home country.
Due to a lower-body injury, Huselius played in a career-low 39 games last season, scoring 14 goals with nine assists.
In 660 career games with Florida, Calgary and Columbus, the 33-year-old former second-round draft pick of the Panthers has compiled 190 goals and 261 helpers.
