Portland, OR – Portland Trail Blazers rookie guard Nolan Smith signed a contract on Friday, the first day of official business for the NBA since the lockout expired.
Smith, the 21st overall pick in the draft, averaged 13.4 points over four seasons at Duke. He was the ACC Player of the Year for the 2010-11 season.
