San Antonio, TX – With the Spurs playing their third game in as many nights, Tim Duncan received the night off, but DaJuan Blair picked up the slack, scoring 19 points and grabbing six rebounds to lead San Antonio to a 93-76 victory over the 76ers at AT&T Center on Sunday.
Tony Parker scored a game-high 21 points to go with seven assists, while Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobili tallied 11 points apiece to give the Spurs their fourth straight victory.
Philadelphia also had a key contributor sidelined, as All-Star Andre Iguodala missed the contest due to patella tendinitis in his left knee.
Elton Brand poured in 14 points and grabbed nine boards while Evan Turner and Jrue Holiday netted 10 points apiece for the Sixers, who have dropped 24 of 25 in San Antonio since the start of the 1986-87 season.
The Sixers now hold a slim 1/2 game lead over Boston atop the Atlantic Division after the Celtics defeated the Wizards 88-76 earlier on Sunday.
