Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Blackhawks acquired goaltender Jason LaBarbera from the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for future considerations on Saturday.

LaBarbera appeared in seven games for the Oilers this season where he went 1-3-0 with a 3.27 goals against average.

The 33-year-old has spent parts of 10 seasons in the NHL playing for the New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Vancouver Canucks, Phoenix Coyotes and the Oilers.

In 182 career games, he has compiled a record of 60-73-19 with a 2.86 goals against average.
