FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Bret Bielema has his sights set on showing the rest of the Southeastern Conference how far Arkansas has come since last year's disappointing season.
The Razorbacks completed their second spring under Bielema last weekend, doing so in front of an estimated 30,000 fans for the school's annual Red-White game.
The drop in attendance from last year's record crowd of 51,088 might have shown a drop in interest following last year's 3-9 record, but Bielema is optimistic about the school's progress following the spring.
Arkansas was third in the SEC in rushing last season, and it added another threat at running back this spring thanks to the emergence of sophomore Korliss Marshall, who had 99 yards rushing on six carries in the spring game.
