Jamie Benn scored a pair of goals and Loui game road trip 2 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes.

Eric Nystrom, Stephane Robidas and Michael Ryder also scored, while Kari Lehtonen made 30 saves for the Stars, who have won four of their last five games.

Chad LaRose and Tuomo Ruutu both had a goal for the Hurricanes, losers of six of their last eight.

Cam Ward was pulled in the second period after allowing four goals on 14 shots. He was replaced by Brian Boucher, who finished with 12 saves.

The Stars, coming off of Friday's 7-6 overtime victory over the Avalanche, wasted little time establishing a comfortable lead against Carolina.

Vernon Fiddler found Nystrom for a snap shot past Ward early in the first and Robidas' slap shot found the back of the net for a 2-0 lead midway through the period.

LaRose got the Hurricanes on the board at the 13:18 mark with a backhand tally, but Benn's first goal -- a wrister assisted by Eriksson -- made it 3-1 at the first intermission.

Benn, who had a career-high four points on Friday, has notched 14 points over his last nine games.

Eriksson continued to play facilitator, assisting on a pair of second-period goals. He found Ryder for a wrister past Ward at the 3:48 mark. Boucher entered and allowed Benn's second goal as the Stars took a 5-1 lead.

Ruutu's power play goal early in the third capped the scoring.
