NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Cincinnati Bengals have signed troubled free-agent cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, the team said Monday.
The signing came six days after Jones, who has not played a full season in the NFL since 2006, worked out with the Bengals, the team's website (www.bengals.com) reported.
Cincinnati did not announce terms of the agreement, but Jones representative Ray Savage told reporters it was for two years.
Jones, 26, was suspended by the NFL for the entire 2007 season and part of 2008 for violating the league's personal conduct policy. He played nine games with the Dallas Cowboys in 2008 but was without a team in 2009.
The sixth overall pick in the 2005 draft, Jones was with the Tennessee Titans in 2005 and 2006, leading the league in punt return average (12.9 yards) in 2006.
