Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bears signed defensive end Trevor Scott to a one-year contract on Thursday.

The 29-year-old appeared in only four games for Tampa Bay last season before getting cut in October. In 2012, Scott played in 14 games for New England, where he made 14 tackles and three sacks.

Scott has appeared in 76 games with 18 starts across six seasons, and has registered 94 tackles with 16 1/2 sacks since entering the league with Oakland in 2008.
