Baylor just narrowly missed out on making the college football four-team playoff, but the Bears won out in the end.

Sort of. OK, not really, but in a poll conducted by ESPN, the Bears game against Michigan State in the Cotton Bow was voted as the top game of 2014.

Remember that night in Dallas? Baylor led by 20 at the end of the third quarter but ended up losing 42-41 when Connor Cook of Michigan State completed a touchdown pass with 17 seconds to play. The game will re-air this Sunday on ESPNU, but if you don't want to re-watch it and would rather read all about it, here you go.

Meanwhile, Baylor's 61-58 victory over TCU was voted as the third-best game of the year. The Ohio State 42-35 win over Alabama in the collge football playoff semifinal was the No. 2 game.
