Bastia has confirmed that the club will sign goalkeeper Mickael Landreau when the transfer window opens on Jan. 1.

Landreau left Lille by mutual consent earlier this month after he fell out with general manager Frederic Paquet, and the 33-year-old will sign with Bastia for the remainder of the season.

After beginning his career with Nantes, Landreau joined PSG and then spent three seasons at Lille, where he helped the club capture the league and cup double in 2011.

Landreau was under contract with Lille until 2014 but he will instead be eligible to make his debut for Bastia in the club's Coupe de France contest with Championnat National side CA Bastia on Jan. 6.
