Josh Terry scored 27 points to lead Austin Peay to a 71-61 win against Tennessee-Martin on Monday night to remain perfect in Ohio Valley Conference play.

Tennessee-Martin led 34-25 at halftime, but Austin Peay opened the second half with an 8-1 run to cut the Skyhawks' margin to two. The game was tied four times after that, the last coming on a jumper by Tennessee-Martin's Terence Smith to make it 53-53 with 7:08 to play.

Benzor Simmons fouled Terry, who sank a pair of free throws, and Austin Peay slowly pulled away.

The Skyhawks, who have lost six straight, had a 37-29 advantage on the boards, but hit only 38 percent of their shots while Austin Peay (12-6, 6-0) shot 50.9 percent.

Tyshwan Edmondson scored 12 points for the Governors, and John Fraley added 10.

Troy King led Tennessee-Martin (4-13, 0-6) with 21 points, and Mike Liabo had 12.
