Seimone Augustus scored 19 points and the Minnesota Lynx beat the Atlanta Dream 77-64 on Sunday for their fifth straight victory after a season-opening loss.

Augustus was 7 of 13 from the field and had six rebounds. She had 25 points Friday night in the Lynx's home victory over the Dream. Lindsay Whalen added 13 points, rookie Maya Moore had 12 points and eight rebounds, and Rebekkah Brunson had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Lindsey Harding led Atlanta (1-5) with 14 points. Angel McCoughtry, Erika DeSouza and Coco Miller each scored 10 points.

Minnesota set the pace early, jumping to a 9-2 lead and pushing the advantage to 19 points with 3 minutes left in the first quarter.

The Lynx continued to dominate until late in the second quarter, when Atlanta put together an 8-0 run that cut it to 35-25 with 2:25 left. Minnesota quickly expanded its 12-point halftime lead by scoring the first two baskets of the third period and maintained a double-digit lead for the rest of the game.

Atlanta rallied from a 24-point deficit to draw within 12 with 7:58 remaining, but Minnesota answered with three straight baskets.
