Houston, TX – The Houston Astros placed pitcher Travis Blackley on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with a left shoulder strain.
Blackley suffered the injury Friday's bullpen session at Minute Maid Park.
To fill the roster spot, the Astros recalled left-hander Dallas Keuchel from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Keuchel made his major league debut last year, going 3-8 with a 5.27 ERA in 16 starts for Houston.
