SEATTLE – Funny Car pilot Alexis DeJoria will be sidelined for the NHRA Northwest Nationals this weekend because of injuries from a recent crash.
The Kalitta Motorsports team will not enter the event after DeJoria injured her back and pelvis in a crash against the retaining wall last weekend in Sonoma, California.
DeJoria hopes to return at the NHRA Nationals in Brainerd, Minnesota.
