Portland, OR – LaMarcus Aldridge scored 23 points, including 2 run that vaulted the Portland Trail Blazers to a 97-84 win over the streaking Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night.
The Trail Blazers held the Memphis without a made field goal for more than 10 minutes while they made their game-changing run between the second and third quarters.
The Grizzlies had a seven-game winning streak snapped, failing to tie the team record of eight straight victories set eight years ago.
Jamal Crawford had 15 points off the bench for Portland and Wesley Matthews scored 13. Marcus Camby also filled the stat sheet, pulling down 22 rebounds in the win.
O.J. Mayo scored 20 points off the bench and Rudy Gay added 11, but Memphis fell for the first time since January 10 against Oklahoma City.
