PITTSBURGH – Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor says he's not quite ready to cede the spotlight to his younger teammates.
The 34-year-old Taylor took a pay cut to come back for a 12th year in Pittsburgh. Taylor says "millions is millions" and he's been fortunate to build a lucrative career while helping the Steelers win two Super Bowls and go to another.
Taylor lost his job as the team's top cornerback last year to Cortez Allen but says he's in the best shape of his career. The Steelers aren't planning on Taylor being done just yet. They didn't draft a defensive back until the fifth round of the draft last month, a sign they believe they can get at least one more year, if not two, out of Taylor.
