The Minnesota Wild are bracing for pushback from the Chicago Blackhawks after a rough-and-tumble effort to win Game 3 in this first-round series.

Game 4 is Tuesday. After practice on Monday, the Wild cautioned against being too proud of their overtime victory. They spoke of expecting a physical response from the Blackhawks after outhitting the top seed in the Western Conference playoffs 34-13 on Sunday.

Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville says his team needs to play with more desperation.

For the Wild, forward Jason Pominville participated in a light practice. Coach Mike Yeo called that "encouraging" but declined to clarify his status for Game 4. Pominville has missed the last two weeks after taking an elbow to the chin in a game against Los Angeles.
