FRANKFURT, Germany – Tomasz Adamek will fight one of the Klitschko brothers in his native Poland in September.
The Klitschko management group says the fight will take place either in Warsaw or in Wroclaw, at one of the stadiums being built for soccer's 2012 European Championship. Poland is co-hosting the tournament with Ukraine, the home country of the Klitschko brothers.
Vitali Klitschko defends his WBC heavyweight title against Odlanier Solis on March 19 in Cologne, while IBF and WBO champion Wladimir fights Dereck Chisora on April 30 in Mannheim.
Adamek also plans a fight in April. Should all three lose, there will be no fight in September. Should one of the Klitschko brothers lose, the other will fight Adamek. If both Klitschkos win their fights, they will decide who will face Adamek.
