Stoke-on-Trent, England (Sports Network) - Stoke City completed the signing of midfielder Charlie Adam on Friday, signing the Scotland international to a four-year contract from Liverpool.
The deal is reportedly worth around $6 million and sees Adam move after just one season at Anfield.
"I'm delighted to be here and to be given the opportunity to work with the club, the manager (Tony Pulis) and the players," Adam told Stoke's website.
"This club's on the up and it's great to be a part of it. I hope I can help them to improve upon the success which has been achieved over the past few years."
The 26-year-old joined Liverpool from Blackpool last summer, but after scoring two goals in 28 games for the Reds, he makes the switch to Stoke and could be available for the club's match on Saturday at Wigan.
