CHARLOTTE, N.C. – ACC commissioner John Swofford says the controversial charge call in Saturday night's game between Syracuse and Duke was a "judgment call" by officials.

Swofford, speaking after a football news conference in Charlotte, wouldn't say whether official Tony Greene made the right call when he whistled Syracuse's C.J. Fair for charging with 10 seconds left, prompting Orange coach Jim Boeheim to storm the court.

Duke won 66-60 in overtime in Durham, N.C.

Says Swofford: "We don't second-guess judgment calls that officials give. They have to make them all of the time."

Swofford says the decision to eject Boeheim was handled correctly, saying "I think Jim would agree with that."

Swofford says Boeheim won't face any punishment from the ACC for his actions.
