White House Day Ahead...Wednesday; Talk Show Appearance & Big Bucks Take Center Stage

President Obama has a busy Wednesday as he heads to New Jersey for an official event on the economy in a Jersey subshop where he will discuss with the small business owners how the small business legislation that the Senate is expected to vote on this week will help businesses grow and hire more workers.  [foxlivestream]

But it's his appearance with the ladies of The View that has taken center stage.  Mr. Obama will be the first sitting president to appear on the talk show.  One of the president's fellow democrats likened the show to Jerry Springer and suggested the president should be choosier about his venues.  Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, told MSNBC “I think the president should be accessible, should answer questions that aren't pre-screened, but I think there should be a little bit of dignity to the presidency.” The show will be taped on Wednesday but air on Thursday.

After quality time with The View ladies, the president begins some serious fundraising for the democrats.  He will headline a dinner at the Grill Room in the Four Seasons before attending a $30,000-a-plate dinner at fashion editor Anna Wintour's home in Manhattan. The Democratic National Committee is the chief benefactor.
