DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

MONDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2009

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. These briefings are closed press. The President will then meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later, the President and the Vice President will meet with Prime Minister Erdogan of Turkey in the Oval Office. There is a pool spray at the bottom of the meeting. The President and the Vice President will then attend a working lunch with Prime Minister Erdogan in the Cabinet Room. This is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet with General Stanley McChrystal, Commander, International Security Assistance Force, and United States Ambassador to Afghanistan Karl Eikenberry in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the evening, the President and the First Lady will host a holiday reception for Members of Congress on the State Floor. This is closed press.
