President Trump used a Friday visit to Boeing's North Charleston campus in South Carolina to say he is already building a record of job creation in his first month in office.
"All of a sudden they're coming back," the president told hundreds of Boeing employees, referring to manufacturing jobs that have been outsourced for years prior to him taking office. "Ford, General Motors, Fiat Chrysler – they're keeping and bringing thousands of jobs back in our country because the business climate they know has already changed."
"Already American industry is roaring back," Trump added.
Following a tour of the facility with Boeing president Kevin McAllister and several White House aides, Trump told employees that he would put in "a big order" for Boeing F-18 jets and continue to scale back regulations and create an environment that promotes economic growth and investment.
