Donald Trump thinks Florida Sen. Marco Rubio "lives above his means" and deliberately mishandled the Republican Party's finances when he served as speaker of the Florida House.
Speaking at a press conference Tuesday at Trump Tower, the billionaire presidential candidate described Rubio as "a disaster with his credit cards."
"His credit card debt and his problems with credit cards, and what he did with the party apparatus when he was running their finances is very bad," Trump told the crowd of supporters shortly after he debuted his latest book, "Crippled America."
"[Rubio] has a very bad record with his finances ... with his houses. He certainly lives above his means," he added.
