TIME magazine's latest cover art depicts the White House being transformed into Saint Basil's Cathedral, a metaphor for the Kremlin.

The magazine tweeted a short video of the cover art, titled “How Trump’s loyalty test is straining Washington.” The animated video shows the White House with one side being colored red and the cathedral's fancy, colorful columns popping out of the top.

“Our new cover this morning, it’s been a decade since @Time did not have a cover line,” tweeted Matt Vella, TIME's executive editor.

TRUMP RAILS AGAINST ‘WITCH HUNT’ AMID SPECIAL COUNSEL APPOINTMENT

Twitter users posted their reaction to TIME’s cover, including those who mocked it and others pointing out that it had similarities to Mad magazine’s December 2016 cover.

Mad Magazine tweeted, "Once More, With Stealing Dept. TIME MAGAZINE RIPS OFF MAD MAGAZINE?"

The magazine cover follows a week of news leaks and allegations surrounding the White House.

Last week, President Donald Trump allegedly disclosed classified information to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during a White House visit.

The meeting came a day after Trump fired the FBI Director James Comey.

In another leak, Trump allegedly asked Comey to drop a federal investigation into retired Gen. Michael Flynn, the president’s former national security adviser.

SENATOR SAYS FLYNN HASN’T RESPONDED TO SUBPOENA

Trump fired Flynn on February 13 after the White House said he misled Vice President Mike Pence and other officials about his communications with Russia’s ambassador to the United States. The White House has denounced the leaks.

The Justice Department on Wednesday appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller as a special counsel to lead the investigation into allegations that Trump’s campaign collaborated with Russia to sway the 2016 election.

Trump strongly denied the allegations and lashed out against the special counsel, tweeting Thursday morning that “this is the single greatest witch hunt of a politician in American history!”

This is not the magazine's first time it featured Trump on their cover. Trump was named the magazine’s person of the year in 2016.
