Shooting spree kills 4 in Colo., gunman dead

Police brought an end to an apparent shooting spree in Colorado Springs Sunday, killing the alleged gunman outside a local fast food restaurant.

At least three people are dead, four including the alleged gunman, the Associated Press reports.

The suspect opened fire on officers, and the officers responded in kind, according to Lt. Catherine Buckley.

There are at least three separate crime scenes on different streets in Colorado Springs, according to El Paso Country sheriff's spokeswoman Jacqueline Kirby.
