Bernie Sanders’ Secret Service protection has ended, Fox News confirms.

The decision comes after the Democratic presidential candidate formally endorsed presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton on Tuesday. According to a Secret Service source, his protection ended at 5:30 p.m. that day.

Sanders hasn’t technically dropped out, however. Asked if the campaign is over, spokesman Michael Briggs told Fox News:

"His name will be placed in nomination in Philadelphia. Just like her in 2008. So no, the campaign is not over."

Fox News’ Lauren Blanchard and Mike Emanuel contributed to this report.
