Politics can be dangerous. Just ask the boy who took a football to the face courtesy of Republican White House candidate Sen. Marco Rubio.

Rubio, a former high school football star who went to college on a football scholarship, took time out from the campaign trail in Iowa on Tuesday to toss a football with a young fan. The problem was Rubio’s pass went through the kid's hands and hit him in the face and head.

The boy tripped and took a tumble, but reporters at the scene said he was doing just fine.
