The Republican National Committee announced Saturday that it raised $11.5 million in February, bringing its total for the 2016 election cycle to $126.4 million.

Chairman Reince Priebus announced today the party increased its fundraising total this cycle. The party currently has $15.3 million cash on hand.

"Thanks to our strong grassroots support the RNC is fielding a national organization that will be critical to our nominee's victory this November," Priebus said. "We have never been better organized or better prepared to win a presidential election and enthusiasm for our party is only growing."

Priebus' claim is disputed by most election analysts, who argue that either Donald Trump or Texas Sen. Ted Cruz would result in an electoral disaster for the GOP.
