President Obama will host leaders from 47 nations on Monday as well as representatives from the United Nations, the European Union, and the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The President kicks off the Nuclear Security Summit at 1015 a.m. at the Washington Convention Center.  He will meet with King Abdullah II of Jordan, followed by the leaders of Malaysia, Ukraine, Armenia, and China.

His meeting with Chinese President Hu Jintao is significant, since China has been slow to join the U.S. and its international allies in pushing for another round of U.N. sanctions against Iran.

In the evening, President Obama will welcome his guests at a working dinner before the summit's plenary session opens Tuesday.
