Power Play Video: Rep. Garamendi Likens Occupy Wall Street to Tea Party

On Friday's Power Play Live Chris Stirewalt discussed the Occupy Wall Street movement with California Rep. John Garamendi (D) and Washington Times columnist Charlie Hurt.

"People have the right... Americans have the obligation to protest when they see something is wrong," said Garamendi. "We saw the Tea Party protesting here in Washington last year... sort of peacefully."

Both Chris and Charlie Hurt noted that the Tea Party protests in Washington and in other cities were not famous for, or associated with, garbage can fires, clashes with the police or violence.

Hurt also suggested the Obama administration's next stimulus could be in cleaning up the mess the Occupy Wall Street movement has left across the country.
