Fox News Senior Capitol Hill Producer Trish Turner reports the following:

Democratic Congressional leaders will travel to the White House Wednesday for a meeting on healthcare, Fox has learned.

This will be the first face-to-face meeting of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and President Barack Obama after the leader’s comments about the president’s race during the 2008 election.

The meeting is intended to be an update on healthcare negotiations, which are humming along behind closed doors, according to a Reid spokesman.

Another adviser to Reid told Fox earlier Tuesday that a compromise product is being hammered out among the leadership in both chambers behind closed doors, a product that could be sent to the Congressional Budget Office as soon as the end of the week or early next. That process would take about 10 days, according to the aide, after which each chamber would attempt to pass the bill without changes.

Senior White House Correspondent Major Garrett has obtained a list of members attending Wednesday's meeting:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, House Majority Whip James Clyburn,  Henry Waxman, Chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee; Charles Rangel, Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee; George Miller, Chairman of the Education Committee; Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin, Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd; Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus; Labor and Education Committee Chairman Tom Harkin; New York Sen. Charles Schumer, Washington Sen. Patty Murray.
