Early voting for the Georgia Senate runoff elections started Monday, and Tuesday will bring a visit from President-elect Joe Biden, who will campaign for the Democratic candidates just a day after the Electoral College confirmed his victory.

Biden will be backing Democratic candidates Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock.

Hoping to help the Democrats win back the majority in the Senate, Biden's also making what’s being described as a mid-seven-figure investment in the Senate runoffs, where the GOP’s control of the chamber is at stake.

"The Georgia Senate runoffs are crucial — it’s why I’ll be traveling there next Tuesday. But we all need to do our part to make sure we win these races. If you’re able, chip in to our new Flip Georgia Fund to help us take back the Senate," he wrote on Twitter last week.
