It didn't take Democrats very long to figure out who will play the role of Paul Ryan in rehearsals for the October vice presidential debate.
The acting gig will go to Maryland Rep. Chris Van Hollen -- who, as the top Democrat on the House Budget Committee which Ryan chairs, knows the Republican running mate well.
A Capitol Hill source with knowledge on the decision confirmed to Fox News that Van Hollen will stand in for Ryan while Vice President Biden prepares. The lone vice presidential debate is set for Oct. 11.
No word yet on who will play the role of Biden when Ryan starts to rehearse.
