Democrats Fudge Budget Support

Democrats fired up their campgaign machine weeks back to trumpet the Obama budget asking 13 million of the president's campaign troops to enlist in a new effort.

Yesterday - these supporters (via the DNC) supposedly brought more than 640,000 petitions to the Capitol. BUT -- that's not quite accurate. As reported by the Post, and confirmed by Fox, the Obamaniacs actually made 3 copies of each petition.

One senior Senate GOP leadership aide pounced, telling Fox, "That's less than 1% of their vaunted e-mail list. That's not a high rate of return. Every major news organization covered their event two Saturday's ago. They had the President do a web video. They did training videos. But more people wrote in to ask marijuana questions at the online forum at the White House!"
