DC is very slowly resuming normal business after being rocked by a 5.9 quake Thursday afternoon.The Capitol grounds and parts of the White House remain evacuated, although some federal buildings in DC have allowed staff to reenter.US Capitol Police say they are continuing to check for possible structural damage, while hundreds of Congressional staffers remain gathered outside the buildings.  Phone and email service is jammed.The White House has partially reopened for entry, but the mansion itself remains shut down.DC public schools have resumed classes for the day - probably to the dismay of students - but parents have been arriving to pick their kids up.
