Recess is over! Congress comes back from their Presidents Day work period to continue the effort to pass on a jobs bill quickly.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) will hold a critical vote to cut off debate on his $15 billion jobs bill. Unlike many bills, which do not come to the floor without a clear vote count, it is currently uncertain if the Majority Leader has the sixty votes it will take to move to final passage. Elsewhere on the Hill in foreign policy news, the Senate Armed Services Committee gets an update from the Pentagon on the status of Operation Moshtarak, the ongoing anti-Taliban operation underway in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
