The campaign committee to elect Democrats to the Senate again outraised its Republican counterpart in March.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee on Wednesday said it raised $8.1 million in March, bringing its total for the year to $21.4 million. The DSCC says it has $22.2 million in the bank and no debt.

The DSCC now has raised more than the National Republican Senatorial Committee in 13 of the last 15 months.

The NRSC a day earlier said it raised more than $6.3 million in March and is sitting on almost $16 million. It has no debt and raised almost $16.5 million during the first three months of this election year.

Republicans need to pick up six Senate seats to win the majority.
