New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie dismissed questions about his relatively low poll numbers Monday, comparing the GOP primary schedule to the NFL schedule.

Christie, who ranks ninth in the Washington Examiner's power rankings, noted the Super Bowl will come just before the New Hampshire primary and asked whether people were concerned about their teams' standings this early in the football season.

"Bet on talent," Christie said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." "No one on that stage has been tested more than me."

Christie slammed President Obama's inaction in Syria and the administration's deteriorating relations with Russia.
