Breaking: President Wishes Former Vice President Speedy Recovery

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters in Friday's briefing that President Obama called former Vice President Dick Cheney at home Wednesday to wish him a "speedy recovery" following his recent hospital stay after suffering a mild heart attack.

The sixty-nine year old Mr. Cheney has suffered heart troubles most of his adult life.  This was his fifth heart attack.
