Breaking: Israeli Prime Minister to Visit White House in June

President Obama sent Rahm Emanuel on a mission while the Chief of Staff was vacationing in Israel this week for his son's bar mitzvah - ask the Israeli Prime Minister to stop by the White House for a visit.  Benjamin Netanyahu accepted the invitation during Wednesday's meeting with Emanuel when the two men sat down to discuss a range of issues in the U.S.-Israel relationship including what the White House says is "peace between Israel and its neighbors."

The Prime Minister has a scheduled visit to Canada during the first week of June and will add a stop to Washington, D.C. at the end of his trip.

Israeli's were upset during Netanyahu's March visit which was so private that reporters were not allowed to be present for the meeting and the White House would not release a photo of the two leaders in the Oval Office.  The White House later released a photo of the Prime Minister having dinner with Vice President Joe Biden at his home.

Dates for a White House visit by Palestinian Authority Leader Mahmoud Abbas are still being worked out, a White House spokesman told Fox News' Major Garrett.
